When I wrote this recipe, I googled the English name for this kind of Tofu skin, but found no answer for it. This is one kind of tofu skin made from soybean. It differs from the commonly seen tofu skin. This kind of tofu skin is thicker than commonly seen tofu skin by us. If you pay a visit to the northern area of Jiangsu Province of China, you will have the chance to eat them. Local people there loves to eat for it is cheaper than commonly seen tofu skin.
