Clams are packed with a range of essential minerals and vitamins, while being low in fat. Clams are surprisingly high in iron. Steamed clams are naturally high-sodium foods. Eating clams as a primary source of protein markedly reduces levels of cholesterol in both blood and the liver.
Ingredients: 500g clam; 3 eggs; green onions; 1tsp salt
1. Buy 500g clam and clean them in water. Then infuse clam in boiling water for a while until clam shells are slightly open. Beat three eggs in a bowl with 1 tsp salt and then mix well.
2. Add boiling water which was used for infusing clam into egg liquids. Steam the bowl in a wok with boiling water underneath for 5 minutes until the egg surface is solidified. Add clam. Then put a lid on the wok and continue to steam for about 3 minutes until the clam shells are totally open. Finally add chopped green onions. Serve.
