When fresh white peas are on the market, I will store lots of white peas in the refrigerator, so that each time when I want to have white pea, I would take out those white peas to cook soup or stir fry.
White peas are rich in various nutrients that human body needs including high grade protein, which can improve human body’s resistance to disease and rehabilitation capacity. Also white peas contain beta-carotene, which can help prevent the synthesis of carcinogenic substances and thus decrease the formation of cancer cells, reduce the incidence rate of cancer. Ingredients: 200g white peas; 200g bean curd; 50g egg
Seasonings: swanson broth
1. prepare all ingredients, cut bean curd into small sections.
2. Clean white peas and drain them. Add Swanson broth into a pot.
3. Add bean curd into the pot and bring the pot into boiling. Then cook on low heat for five minutes. Add white pea and cook for another 2 minutes.
4. When the soup is a bit dense, switch off the heat. Add egg liquid and mix well. Then serve and add 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil.
