I believe most of us are interested in lotus root. But adding red cabbage and lemon juice into lotus root recipe can be quite creative. According to traditional Chinese medicine, lotus root can help digestion, stop diarrhea, reduce fever, whet appetite, and nourish skin, another perfect food ingredients for TCM dietary supplementation.

Ingredients
200g lotus root; 1 lemon; 80g red cabbage; 30g sugar
Directions:
1. Wash and clean red cabbages, cut them into fine sections. Then put into a food processor, add some boiling water, smash into pieces and get filtered.
     
2. Put red cabbage juice into a big bowl. Squeeze some lemon juice, add two pieces of lemon. Then pink comes out, add sugar and mix well.
     
3. Wash and clean lotus roots, peel them and cut them into fine sections. Blanch them in boiling water. Finally add lotus roots into the bowl. We had better put a lid onto the bowl, then put the bowl into a refrigerator for one hour or more.
