Dried radishes is a common dish for a Chinese family. Every morning have a small dish of dried radishes together with noodles, a steamed bun, or a bowl of rice porridge. Dried radishes contains some amount of sugar, protein, carotene and other nutritious ingredients, ascorbic acid, calcium, phosphorus and other mineral substances. Also dried radishes have plant of vitamin B and iron, a superior nutritious food. Dried radishes can help decrease blood-fat, decrease blood pressure, reduce inflammation, arouse appetising, reducing fever, prevent heatstroke, eliminate grease, reduce phlegm and relieve a cough.
3 white radishes; salt to taste; chili powder to taste; 1tbsp chili oil; chopped red pepper to taste; Chinese hot spicy powder
1. Wash and clean the radishes and slice it into fine sections and put them into a big bowl. Add salt, salt the radishes for one night.
2. Drain the radishes for two or three days. Wash them with boiling water, then drain the surfaced water. Chop radishes, put into a bowl, then add some chopped red peppers and chili powder.
